Works great for knives drys fairly quickly I normally leave it overnight.
Got this for my pc and so I know how to take apart my Lander 2 and clean it out keep it running smoothly.
What a great knife. Small but not too small. Blade is lnog enough to use your thumb as a guide, something a longer blade would be too long for. Heavy ish for its size i like that for a positive feel. The belt hook and scabard are great there is a fir degree of customisable positions for both belt width and knife orientation.
Nice looking fixed blade. Great craftsmanship. There is only one small issue with my sheath. The sheath seems covered up a little bit to high onto the handle. It made the drawing a little bit hard.
“it slices, it dices, it also makes julienne fries” The Harpoon Mini is an excellent EDC fixie. I carry it without the belt clip in the pocket, but can see this working well with a mini Ulticlip.
Love the blade came super sharp. Great mix of colour
The Smolt is almost perfect as a small work blade. The 14C28N will strop back to life fairly easily and is also no issue to sharpen.
My new favourite utility knife.
Does what it's meant to, super easy to deploy, great quality and nice action.
Knafs Lander 4 Fixed Blade Sheepsfoot – Quick but Thorough Review
1. Sales & Ordering
Bought directly from Adventure Carry. The website was clean, pricing was upfront, and the Layby option was easy to use. Mitch was quick to respond to my pre-sale questions — honest, helpful, and clearly passionate about knives. For just over $200 AUD, you're getting solid value backed by Knafs' design ethos and community roots.
2. Delivery & Packaging
Shipping took only 2 business days to Lake Illawarra. Everything arrived in perfect condition — the knife was in its Kydex sheath with belt loop, plus spares, info sheet, and a bonus lolly. Minimal packaging, but protective and thoughtful.
3. Design & Materials
The sheepsfoot blade is ideal for utility and campsite work — great for controlled cuts with its straight edge and dropped tip. It’s made from S35VN, which has held a good edge, resisted rust, and sharpened easily with a diamond stone. The micarta handles are grippy even when wet and swappable for modders. Fit and finish were spot on — no rattles or sharp edges.
4. Ergonomics & Carry
Comfortable in all grips, with neutral shaping that works for big or small hands. Jimping is subtle but useful. The Kydex sheath has solid retention, a drain hole, and mounting flexibility. It carries well scout or appendix style — lightweight enough for EDC but built to work.
5. In Use
It sliced rope, broke down boxes, and prepped food with ease. The edge geometry is a sweet spot — slices well, holds up without chipping. Sharpening is straightforward and maintenance is low fuss.
Final Thoughts
What I Liked:
Clean design, solid ergos
Modding potential
Practical sheepsfoot blade
Quality steel and construction
What Could Improve:
Sheath draw is easy, but re-sheathing takes some alignment – might just be Kydex being Kydex.
Verdict:
A practical, well-thought-out fixed blade that’s built to be used. It doesn’t try to be flashy — just delivers on the basics with room for personalization. Great for EDC, camping, or as a dependable backup.
Handy carry case, ample sized slots, sturdy construction.
Fantastic little slip joint.
Kizer have done it with this one, it's a very nice knife fits in the hand great and I love the clip point blade!! All round great knife and action. Thanks adventure carry/Mitch
Kwaiken its small and light & its sharp, nice sheath(clam style with good belt clip with adjustable inserts) and a really good grippy handle.
The Sokn fits in the hand like it was ment to be, Scout carry or small of the back carry seems perfect for me, but also deep pocket carry woks too or if you want a more traditional carry maybe get an ulti-clip slim or ITP (IN-THE-POCKET) Clip.
