Hardened at 60-61 HRC, Z-Wear PM provides the very high amount of edge resistance while still maintaining a respectable toughness (resistance to breaking). Similar in composition to CPM 3V, with the addition of more carbides for better toughness at a higher hardness (may increase susceptibility to corrosion in certain environments).
