Meet The O.C.T. - Knafs' very first button lock, and if it doesn't look like a typical Knafs design… that's because it isn't. Matt Fitzgerald was tasked with designing a knife that hits the sweet spot of "feels bigger than it looks." The challenge? Keep the blade small but the grip satisfying. Matt gave it the "old college try" (O.C.T.) and under Ben’s mentorship and multiple prototypes, he smashed it.

The 1.89” blade is deceptively capable, while contoured aluminium handles deliver an ergonomic feel that defies the compact footprint. Even the button texture tells a story - it's inspired by Utah State's Old Main building, a nod to Matt's college. It's small, light, and ridiculously easy to carry, but the moment it's in hand it feels more "proper knife" than its size suggests. You'll reach for it to cut something… and end up flipping it a few extra times while you're there.
