Premium blades & gear curated for your pockets
That fixed blade coffin-handled beauty from Jack Wolf Knives you've been drooling over has finally arrived! With its wicked design and killer finishes, this is the EDC that has actual vampires checking their flight options!
I bought this knife because I needed something I could use at work (hospitality) that wouldn’t freak out the customers. I figured it’d look nice and be practical, but maybe feel a bit clumsy compared to a “proper” blade.
But bloody hell—this knife is an absolute ripper. Feels great in the hand, pocket weight is bang on (barely notice it’s there), and the action is smoother than anything I’ve owned. That axis-style lock is so satisfying—blade deploys like a smooth satin dream, with all the fidgety joy you could want. Blade’s perfectly centred, too.
The finger grooves and jimping on the spine make it super comfy to hold, and I’m genuinely pumped to see how it holds up over time—feels like it’s just begging to be used and used hard.
The little extras are such a win too—tweezers and a toothpick tucked in the handle! The tweezers are a touch fiddly to get out (could use a bit more of a lip for your nail), but nothing you don’t get used to quickly.
I bought the Ultem version too, which I also reviewed. It’s just as good, but I personally prefer the Ultem—something about the look and vibe of it just hits harder for me. That said, if this Black Micarta had been the only one I picked up, I’d still be stoked. It’s a beautiful, super well-made knife.
And as always—Adventure Carry are absolute legends. Great customer service, thoughtful gear selection, and just all-round solid humans.
I grabbed this knife ’cause I needed something I could use at work (hospitality) that wouldn’t freak out the customers. I figured it’d look nice and be practical, but probably feel a bit… I dunno, clunky next to a “proper” blade.
But bloody hell—this thing blew me away. Feels awesome in the hand, perfect weight for the pocket (I forget it’s even there), and the action? Smoother than anything I’ve owned. The axis-style lock is dead satisfying—blade flicks out like a smooth satin dream and has all the fidgety goodness I could want. And it’s bang-on centred.
The finger grooves and grip on the spine just make it so comfy to hold. I genuinely can’t wait to use, abuse, and lovingly thrash this thing.
Bonus feature I didn’t know I needed: tweezers and a toothpick! The tweezers are a little fiddly to get out—could use a smidge more of a lip for your nail—but you get used to it fast.
Now the Ultem… mate. I’ve never had a knife with it before and always wondered what the fuss was about. Turns out it’s bloody gorgeous. That golden glow with the black liners? So damn cool. I also grabbed the Black Micarta version as a gift (also a stunner), but the Ultem’s staying with me.
And lastly—Adventure Carry absolutely nails it on the customer service front. Super friendly, super thoughtful, and clearly love what they do. Legends.
It cleans. It protects. It polishes. It does what is says on the box, and you can't ask for more than that. It made my AD-15 user look shiny and new again. Good stuff.
I bought this for the missus to share my knife addiction and now I want it for myself! It's an excellent little slicer that's easy to manipulate, even with my bear paws. I tend to collect larger knives but this little thing is sweet and is my gateway to adding tiny knives to the collection. Get one. It's great.
Pokka pens are great - super light weight, write well. Easy to find in the bag.
Getting it a half the price of the non-branded version? Easy decision!
Like the title says - this is easily the best utility-bladed folder available. I've been using the OKNife U1 Pro as my EDC utility knife when traveling for a while now. It's an excellent tool, but the Kizer Drop-bear utility is just that bit better in every practical way, for the same money (or even a bit cheaper) as similar offerings like the Elementum Utility.
The blade holding mechanism is brilliant! It allows for the most exposed edge of any utility blade available, while still providing a secure blade mount and tool-less changes.
The finger choil and jimping on the spine let you safely choke up right onto the edge and get a proper grip for precise control needed for things like carving. The handle is well chamfered with just enough thickness that you can comfortably put some force into cuts (i.e. through carpet/cardboard).
The deep-carry reversible clip is surface mounted, but uses flush mounted screws so there is no hang-up in and out of the pocket. Kizer has even upgraded the clip screws to T8's, so you now only need one torx bit to disassemble/maintain the tool.
Fit and finish is excellent! Lockup is solid - no play or lock rock/stick; the blade is perfectly centered. The quality of the micarta is really good - fine grained but grippy. It'll need some time to see how it wears in, but it seems on par with the micarta Kizer's used in the past.
The clutch/axis lock is fantastic and feels crisp with a very clean break. It feels exactly the same as the original Drop Bear (which is one of the best feeling clutch locks ever made), and makes for a very fidgety tool! The spring tension is adjustable so you can tune it to exactly how you like it.
At to top it off - the inboard pick and tweezers are a fantastic inclusion and add functionality to this tool that is not normally seen outside of multitools like SAKs. Kizer even includes an additional set of hardware, 10 utility blades, and replacement pick/tweezers in the box! Additional hardware is fantastic, but adding a second set of the tools is on another level!
As always, Adventure Carry processed and shipped the order extremely quickly. 2 days from order to delivery! Could not be happier.
This is what I was looking for, for finding the right edge to get the best results for sharpening my knives. It's well made out of aluminium.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to find that perfect edge.
It would have been better if the V to find the angle would have made a V instead of having a hole at the bottom of it. It would have made it easier to find the right edge in my opinion. Just drop your blade in it and see if any light comes through. But this way still works well so I'm definitely happy with it
Seems to be well made so far, glows for a while, doesn’t last all night but I guess more sun would make it glow for longer,
I was really pleased with my Sixgill knife. It looks really nice, the patterning on the blade is nice and it feels comfortable to hold. Nice wooden handle.
great to slip into a pouch, i cant wait to build out my knife maintenance kit with it included, the stropping compound works well and the ring allows it to be hooked onto my work table! i will definatly come back and purchase the KNAFS pocket diamond stone to go with it (:
Fantastastic looking knife, quick off the mark when flicked open straight out of the box!!
Both product and customer service are on point. Extremely happy with my new pocket knife.
Definitely will shop again from great range
Thank you Adventure Carry

Great feel in the hand.

Super versatile 5th pocket perfection!
Button operated liner lock is great and the size is small but very useful.
