from 3411 reviewsStrength of the stockman, styled for the office too. Great piece to carry. The JWK stockman is a fantastic design with balls.
I honestly didn't think I would get this refill pack but I'm glad I did. It looks like they come with a revised Sharpie refill. The picture shows a refill that came with the marker and the ones in this pack.
I had noticed the original refill's tip was getting frayed with use. While not a deal breaker, it was annoying, to say the least. When I noticed a different design I thought to give it a go and it looks to be OK.
As one can't see a marker's ink level, it's always nice to have some refills at home. It turns out that this pack is much cheaper than buying 5 retractable Sharpies, disassembling them. And as a bonus the pack comes with the adapter parts as spares.
I bought it without much expectation. When it arrived, it was smaller than I had expected (my fault for not reading specs).
I was a bit skeptical about the clip due to the material but it clips on to thicker materials than I thought and bites on. It also works really well on thin running shorts. Now I just pull out the handle knowing the sheath will stay in the pocket.
I bought a Morakiv Companion HD as a camping knife and as a "knife that I won't cry over".
I got this knife when it was on special and liked it so much that I had to go out and get the scandi grind model (unfortunately Adventure Carry had no stock). For a folding knife guy, I did not think a day will come where I have two of the same fixed blade. I mean I don't even do that with folders.
In other words, I LOVE THIS KNIFE.
It's a nice thing to have in the maintenance kit for that pesky screw that always backs out. I find that most of the time a bit of threadlocker residue keeps it from backing out even after breaking it.
Just don't make the same mistake that I did and keep the bottle lid-end up. I learned the had way that it does not seal.
I had always contemplated a Ti marker but I ended up favouring a pen in my pocket. I finally caved in and it's been serving me quite well. The diameter is a bit larger than my liking but I don't expect to be writing with a marker for a long time so it's fine.
I can see that the refill that came with the marker has slightly different mechanism to the refills in the refill kit. The originall refill has the tip rubbing against the cap mechanism and the tip of the felt is frayed over time. Not really the marker's issue so it still gets 5 stars for the quality and execution for the marker itself.
Perfect, thin and slicer beast, love the texture of the handle great edc donât even know itâs in your pocket
So much fun to use. Love the micarta, multiple open methods and blade shape.
Poor guy never had a one-handed knife before. He'd always worked with Bucks and Opinels. Which, sure, they're nice, but this has been a GAME CHANGER for him. He fishes, he does light camping, he cooks, he opens boxes, and this does it all for him.
Easy to open? Check. I love every option I have to get the blade out, and tend to spidey flick the most.
Perfect belly? Check. More than enough blade to slice a tomato or cut open some sausages.
Easy to clean? Check. No matter how dirty it gets, the take down is easy and the reassembly is a breeze.
One of my favorite knives at the moment.
Very nice upgrade for my purple micarta BB - the thin profile of the Ti clip really suits it.
Previous to this I did not have a custom bit driver for my knives and was using any old pocket screwdriver I had laying around. When I received the Bit Driver Grande by Knafs I realised what I had been missing out on. Knafs have produced a quality driver (with a fidget factor handle as a bonus) that I now have setting on my desk stand. The additional bits cover just about all knife screws you'd probably want for that on the go maintenance work that you need to be able to quickly do. Of course I can use it with all my other quarter inch Wiha bits, too. I like the short and stubby design and the smooth ceramic bearings that make it a pleasure to use. Top job Knafs.
Sleek elegance and functionality, wrapped up with titanium scales that houses an awesome M390 blade, is how I would summarise this knife. This is a beautifully styled EDC knife that looks almost too nice to even use. The near 3 1/2 inch tanto blade is a joy to use and feels very comfortable in the hand - the indexing is spot on. I must say the button push release is surprisingly good with a positive feel, and is very strong. There is no sloppiness at all as in some button locks. But then I'm not surprised because it IS a Vosteed creation with a lot of attention to detail. It's a pleasing to the eye design, yet very functional every day tool. It is quickly becoming one of my favourites.
