Perfectly centered, flips smooth and has remained rock solid over 3 days of continuous use. Edge out-of-the-box could not cut paper very well but I was able to easily put a shaving edge on it with a quick sharpen and strop. Detent strength is good relative to the weight of the blade, which also helps it drop shut pretty easily when the lock is released.
