Description

The ACE Iona Sailor draws directly from a lesser-known chapter of maritime history. On tall ships, officers would often order the tips of sailors’ knives snapped off. It was a deliberate move to keep blades focused on rope, sail and daily labour rather than anything more sinister. That work-first mindset shapes the Iona Sailor. Its sweeping, tipless-style profile favours controlled slicing and draw cuts over piercing, making it exceptionally capable for rope, cardboard, plastics and repetitive utility work. There is something refreshingly honest about a knife designed around function above all else.

This version backs that philosophy with modern performance. The blade is cut from premium S90V for outstanding edge retention, while the lightweight FRN handle keeps carry easy and grip secure even when conditions are less than ideal. Finished with a reversible wire clip for simple, discreet pocket carry, the Iona Sailor is a purpose-built work companion that respects tradition while thriving in today’s everyday carry rotation.

  • 2.9” S90V Blade Steel – excellent edge retention for extended, hard use
  • Utility-Focused Blade Profile – optimised for slicing, rope work and controlled cuts
  • Lightweight FRN Handle – durable, grippy and comfortable in varied conditions
  • Ergonomic Shape – secure, fatigue-resistant hold during long cutting sessions
  • Reversible Wire Pocket Clip – clean, discreet carry for left or right hand use
  • Maritime-Inspired Design – rooted in tall ship history, built for modern EDC practicality
  • Made in Italy
