I only bought this one because I won a set of Fat Carbon scales on the lucky door prize at the Adventure Carry x Knafs event 😂
The stock steel scales are actually really good, but of course I had to throw the lucky CF scales on it!
It’s a seriously fun little budget banger! Looks and feels great with or without the scale upgrade. A very happy accident of a knife indeed 🤓
I’ve had my eye on this one since it dropped (because my daughter’s nickname is Lulu). So after meeting Ben at the Adventure Carry x Knafs event, I knew I had to grab one to support Ben’s first in-house build and just because it's so damn unique!
It’s a 3-finger knife, but some kind of wizardry makes it feel great in a full grip. Tiny, precise and ridiculously pokey, it totally disappears in my front pocket.
Mitch also kindly had Ben sign it for me, which makes an already cool little knife wayyy more special. Thanks guys 🤘
This knife has it all, the fit, finish and function, the Elmax is super sharp and bites into everything well and the DLC black wash doesn't get scratched up even by diamond compounds. It's such a clean unit with such a satisfying sound and feel I tend to carry it around everywhere just for the love of using it. Cheers Adventure Carry, great customer service and support team by the way.
Genuinely such a fun knife to fidget around with, came super sharp and perfect size for my pocket for EDC, Fantastic mechanisms which make crisp and satisfying sounds when opening and closing. Overall a fantastic knife, although quite expensive even though this is a budget knife.
I love this 13th Anniversary Coin from Kizer. Firstly, congratulations on your 13th anniversary and may there be many more. Also, thanks for such a wonderful range of products for us fellow enthusiasts to buy. It's always exciting when making a choice.
The Coin is stunning and the laser engraving is excellent with wonderful detail and the antique brass finish is gorgeous. It's a very worthy addition to any collection.
I'm very impressed with this latest Mini Bay double detent slip joint. The action is so addictive and satisfying that I look for reasons to fidget with it under the flimsy guise of needing to use it. The satin sheepsfoot blade is sharp and versatile, and the gorgeous Vortex Micarta scales are super-grippy and light. The perfect size for fifth pocket carry and endless fidget fun. It's a cult favourite for very good reason.
Traditional meets modern in all the best ways with this knife and it comes with beautiful red jigged bone to add to its irresistible appeal. The stainless clip point blade offers versatility for any task, and the strong half stop is reassuring and crisp. The integrated pry tip is a great addition and adds historic utility and versatility. The size of the blade and overall size is excellent and slips easily into your pocket, ready for any edc tasks as they arise. A stunning knife which is a perfect addition to a collection, or for regular use. Excellent quality as always from RoseCraft Blades.
The knife was of the quality I expected. The best thing is the prices and rewards from adventure carry. This is not my first purchase from them and it won't be my last. Great product range. First class seller!
I thought Jack Wolf cured my weird obsession with the Lanny's Clip pattern. Nope. I saw the Hatchie River Jack and thought "yeah, I definitely need that too". This is my first RoseCraft in-hand and I'm honestly blown away by the value proposition here. The materials and price may be budget friendly but the execution and finish really is exceptional, not too far removed from Jack Wolf. The walk and talk feels and sounds great. And the profile, the shield, and the pins captures that old timey, traditional knife nostalgia that you just don't get with most modern traditionals. Hats off to RoseCraft. It's a highly recommendable blade that won't make your wallet cry.
I smeared the paste all over my paddle and gently stropped back and forth. That's a nice and shiny edge bevel! It's good stuff!
It's a polishing cloth. It polishes. It cloths. It removes my oily sausage fingerprints and makes my blades shiny. It's good stuff.
These rust prevention strips work wonders! I just placed one in my knife case and there's no rust to be seen anywhere! Most of the knife collection may be stainless but I like to believe it's the prevention strip doing its thing. Two thumbs up.
Red Hot for the $. Best value slippies around. Lovely Stockman blade shape. Been in my pocket since day 1 and I have absolutely no regrets with my purchase.
This upgrade from the Lander 1 is well worth it. Premium scales, locking mechanism and steel in the fantastic and highly practical shape of the Lander 1. Perfect companion around the home and campsite.
Many thanks to Ben Petersen for an incredible knife that he signed whilst on his trip to Australia. Knafs really care about the products it delivers. Huge thank you to Mitch and Dawn for their incredible support for the knife collecting community. The Adventure Carry crew offer VIP service to every single one of their customers every time. What an incredible business! Oh and Ben... The sky is up...
Strength of the stockman, styled for the office too. Great piece to carry. The JWK stockman is a fantastic design with balls.
I honestly didn't think I would get this refill pack but I'm glad I did. It looks like they come with a revised Sharpie refill. The picture shows a refill that came with the marker and the ones in this pack.
I had noticed the original refill's tip was getting frayed with use. While not a deal breaker, it was annoying, to say the least. When I noticed a different design I thought to give it a go and it looks to be OK.
As one can't see a marker's ink level, it's always nice to have some refills at home. It turns out that this pack is much cheaper than buying 5 retractable Sharpies, disassembling them. And as a bonus the pack comes with the adapter parts as spares.
I bought it without much expectation. When it arrived, it was smaller than I had expected (my fault for not reading specs).
I was a bit skeptical about the clip due to the material but it clips on to thicker materials than I thought and bites on. It also works really well on thin running shorts. Now I just pull out the handle knowing the sheath will stay in the pocket.
I had known about Jakeb's Chikadee for a while and had been tempted to get one. While not a fixed blade guy, there was something about that particular mdoem that called to me.
I was excited to see the collaboration and just had to try this out. I got the ITP clip from Adventure Carry for pocket carry. Had to drill a hole in the sheath for the ITP clip to fit but it works.
I was skeptical about a three-finger fixed blade but the handle is thick enoughthat I can get a comfortable grip and pinky can grab the factory supplied lanyard.
Knocking down a star because:
1. I wish they used a thinner stock for a three-finger pocket fixed.
2. Taco style sheath would occupy less psace in the pocket
Still a very nice knife and I'm sure many pocket fixed blade people will enjoy it.
I bought a Morakiv Companion HD as a camping knife and as a "knife that I won't cry over".
I got this knife when it was on special and liked it so much that I had to go out and get the scandi grind model (unfortunately Adventure Carry had no stock). For a folding knife guy, I did not think a day will come where I have two of the same fixed blade. I mean I don't even do that with folders.
In other words, I LOVE THIS KNIFE.
It's a nice thing to have in the maintenance kit for that pesky screw that always backs out. I find that most of the time a bit of threadlocker residue keeps it from backing out even after breaking it.
Just don't make the same mistake that I did and keep the bottle lid-end up. I learned the had way that it does not seal.
I had always contemplated a Ti marker but I ended up favouring a pen in my pocket. I finally caved in and it's been serving me quite well. The diameter is a bit larger than my liking but I don't expect to be writing with a marker for a long time so it's fine.
I can see that the refill that came with the marker has slightly different mechanism to the refills in the refill kit. The originall refill has the tip rubbing against the cap mechanism and the tip of the felt is frayed over time. Not really the marker's issue so it still gets 5 stars for the quality and execution for the marker itself.
Perfect, thin and slicer beast, love the texture of the handle great edc don’t even know it’s in your pocket
