with Adventure carry was so easy.
Thought i would try a new dury blade. So far ticks all the boxes. Amazingly action out the box.

The Kizer Trestle D is noticeably lighter thanks to the aluminium handles compared to titanium, making it comfortable to carry. The Damascus blade looks fantastic and gives it a premium look, although the wood inserts have some minor alignment issues that leave a noticeable edge. The medium pull and half stop are spot on. Overall, a great-looking small knife with a small fit and finish niggle.
The Kizer Durandal has an awesome compound grind on the blade, excellent milling around the pivot and classy-looking scale inserts. Fun action with a solid top liner lock. My only gripe is that at this price point, I would have preferred titanium scales over aluminium.
The Kizer Microbe TSJ AirTi is slimmer than the original, making it a great little EDC. Super fidget friendly with a satisfying action, although Iâd like to see a slightly stronger detent lock. Overall, a fun little piece.
My 3rd Microbe, love these 5th pocket, small knives. Very handy, easy carry, looks brilliant with the Copper Foil. Grab one!

What a gorgeous, elegant, incredibly ergonomic using knife ! In many ways it has all the features of a simple, hardworking EDC folder but executed beautifully with almost-cliche Civivi fit and finish, and a whole level-up use of materials. Its a handsome folder with ridiculously slick crossbar action to boot.
Very impressed with this Zygon knife from Civivi. The top crossbar lock is rock solid and gives a nice, clean look to the handles, which offer great grip. The orange and black artwork is spectacular and creates the perfect look with the black stonewash drop point blade. Being ambitextrous and having the thumb stud and top crossbar lock for ease of use, also helps make this one of my absolute favourites.
Fits in the hand like a glove. Blade is thin and slicey.

The Nymble by EMP EDC has always been a fav of mine âŚ. But put a vanchor lock on that thing and boom! That makes it Goat for me !!!! Only down side is Iâm a lefty but still a must have!!!!!
Most collectors would have an Elementum or three in their collection, be it W.E or CIVIVI variants. I thought myself it had been done to death, so i wasânt that interested when i read that W.E were releasing another variant.
Then i read the reason behind it. Its not just another variant, it is a celebration, a statement marking a significant change in the ongoing evolution of knife making.
Just the fact that to keep up in the industry moving to MAGNACUT steel they were forced to produce this batch in the USA is significant.
If ya donât give a toss about any of that stuff i can tell you it an awesome little knife in hand!

I am sure i am not alone in thinking certain knives have character, often it relates to the maker. Think CHAVES, HINDERER, CHRIS REEVE, its like their builds inherit their DNA.
This little Gem of a knife SCREAMS character! It says Cheeky, wicked, Magical, Individual. I love it, makes me think of a devious Elf sitting on a huge Magic Mushroom nodding to himself as he plans his next prank on some poor unsuspecting soul.
Itâs refreshing as a collector. i was only saying to the Old Man on the weekend that even the exclusives we purchase for 4 /5 k or more are still in some way copying what Chris Reeve and Benchmade did 20/30 yrs ago.
