The Mini Begleiter is a highly anticipated new release from Kizer, featuring some Improvements that make this knife a perfect addition to anyone's EDC.

The scales are now made from Micarta - A  strong material made from resin and canvas compressed together. This makes for a grippy and durable finish that develops a nice patina with use.

The blade steel has been upgraded to N690, a premium, cobalt-enriched stainless steel from the Austrian steel company Bohler. It's an easy to maintain Steel that is well known for its ability to hold a fine edge for long periods of use.

The contoured Micarta handle fits well in the hand and even features a generously sized lanyard hole at the tail. The thumb jimping on the spine of the blade gives good grip while the new reverse tanto blade shape offers exceptional cutting performance for small every day tasks. Add this to the other list of features and you have a high quality knife that's built to perform, all at a very reasonable price.

Fit and finish of these knives are top notch.

Another great Begleiter

“Begleiter” is German for “companion”; this smaller variant of this knife makes it easy to edc. The sharp blade flicks out easily and swiftly and performs small daily tasks well. The red micarta is almost like g10 in appearance, but has the characteristic warmth of micarta in handling. All in all, a small gem and handy companion indeed. Thanks again to Mitch for excellent service.

What an excellent review of the Begleiter! The red micarta is a nice touch to the knife indeed. Danke schon!

Cheers,
Mitch
