Fantastic knife, ergos are great and the action is superb. Absolutely loving it.

A perfect edc in many ways - slim, light, very useful blade shape and sensibly thin stock with full flat grind, the front flipper and thumb stud work easily and reliably, the recessed clip with recessed screws is a master class, and the micarta is pretty good quality. But I didn’t stop there - I dyed the micarta and heat bronzed the hardware which went an interesting grey bronze on the clip and straight to a light purple on the axis screw. Fabulous!

Wouldn't have bought the basic as it didn't appeal to me. Got the damascus and am so glad I did. Fits in the hand nicely and the damascus looks as good as the pictures. Great ergonomics, fantastic knife

The knife is very ergonomic with one of the best thumb stud deployments. The detent is too strong for the front flipper, but I think it will break in. Amazing value for money. Can't go wrong with Ray Laconico designs.

The man knows how to make a comfortable useable design.
This is the cheapest I have so far and is closest to the best in my opinion.

I love the aesthetics of this knife thats why i bought it . The quality of manufacturing is perfect , I cannot be happier with my purchase. Excellent value for money .. The only function i struggle a bit is blade activation via the front flipper, need to put more practice into it .

The Sokoke is designed by Ray Laconico and produced by Civivi. Civivi stand a cut above the rest for budget knives and tools. Never have I had an issue. Ray is a legend among the life world renown for his minimalist designs centred around aesthetic and function.
The Sokoke was bigger than I thought. The functionality was perfect. I chose the green burlap Micarta. It provides a fantastic grip and develops patina well over time.
The knife was razor sharp out of the box and action was beautiful. Whether deploying via front flip or thumb stud it fires like a rocket and locks up well.
I have full confidence to use it in any day to day task.
