Yes, it's not a myth or some Aussie Folklore. We have verified that Drop Bears are real and they have finally landed down under. In knife version at least!
Designed by Azo, there's a whole lot to be excited over Kizer's very first Axis/Clutch Lock. It features:
- D-Shape Pivot
- DED System
- Gemini Spring System
What does that all mean? Well, you get an Axis lock knife which can be easily disassembled to tune the springs to the exact tension you prefer. Less tension for the fidgeters and a tighter tune for those who want to use this as a daily tool.
The scales are made from Aluminium alloy which has a high strength to weight ratio. 154CM steel offers up a lot in terms of hardness at 60-61HRC rating. It also has great edge retention and wear resistance whilst being easy to sharpen. Generous jimping along the spine ensures you get a good grip on cutting tasks.

Lock system is really smooth and the adjustability of the spring is a nice touch. Comes with a spare spring, probably more for peace of mind than actual necessity. Steel has held the factory edge well at work on cardboard, zip ties, rubber pipe etc. Blade geometry pretty slicey but definitely not fragile.
