Back and better than ever: We present Version 3 of our ever-popular ACE Nimbus folder. 2023 marks the five year anniversary of the original ACE Nimbus design, and like the original, the Nimbus V3 is designed to be the perfect outdoor companion, a homage to rugged Nordic tool knives. We pushed the concept even further in 2020 with the Nimbus V2, when we rounded the scales for a more ergonomic grip and replaced the bearings with custom designed bronze washers. But the GiantMouse team is nothing if not perfectionists. We couldn’t sleep until this work knife reached its full potential.

The new Nimbus V3 uses Magnacut steel to maximize durability, while staying faithful to the OG’s puuku-like blade profile with high full flat grind and thin edge. Next, in our pursuit of greatness, we replaced the custom bronze washers used on V2 with more conventional flat phosphorus bronze washers. The result is a highly capable and dependable folder that opens and cuts like a dream.

So, taking our cues from the tough, no-nonsense design ethos of the Nimbus motorcycle, we've crafted this knife to be a rock-solid "tool knife.” The ACE Nimbus is the kind of knife that’s always got your back when the going gets tough.
