Very robust blade and because of the absence of the flipper tab, it does fine chopping jobs very well and unobstructed. Service and shipping from Adventure Carry is very fast and well updated. Very good dealer and very nice products. 😉

Great edc knife this is my hard use work knife easy to sharpen and retains a edge nicely very tough knife easy to clean .maintenance is simple coupple of torx screws and it's apart

I get it!! Having one now l understand, don’t be afraid of the geometry of it! The ergonomics of it make it feel completely different then to what you think. Do yourself a favour! Buy it!

I've been using/carrying this knife the last couple of weeks at work and it's been a pleasure, ergonomics are great, blade profile and size, weight, it has got everything going for it. I bought it as an upgrade to the honey badger medium wharncleaver where I needed something beefier yet around the same size, this is much more suited to my hand and the tasks I dish out to it. Only small drama I've had is to tighten the bearing a couple of times which has come lose however it seems to have sorted itself out now. Apart from that this knife is great, my main go to, even the acoustics on the sheepdog are sexy. Thanks Mitch for the prompt postage, already eyeing off my next purchase.

Beast of a knife with a great profile and comfy in the hand. Great all rounder when I'm working around the house. Probably look to get the mini version also. Made a few purchases now and the service from Mitch has been great.

My girl spent big at AC for Crimbo this year and this was my best prezi for years. The Kizer Sheepdog has the best ergos for a big knife. Love the cleaver look and with the non flipper its a very practical blade shape for chopping. Jimping down the spine is just right, it grabs ya fingers well. Love the choil, plenty of room to sharpen her over time, you got room to choke up. The thumb hole is in the right spot, it lets you throw the blade out with some force. Super sharp out of the box, action is a Kizer action so that says it all as they are killing it in 2022. The micarta is top QTY you can see the linen in the handle, the knife does not have any plastic feel to it. When the micarta gets wet its even more grippy than when dry, the shape of the handle sits in my hand as if it was made just for me. Pocket clip works well, cant feel it pushing into ya hand no matter how hard I grab her. Deep carry but NOT lefty friendly, counter sunk screws so in and out of the pocket like butter. The hardware is T8s all round, access to lock bar is ample and the detent is early. I carry this knife every day its a bloody ripper!!!!

This is my second sheepdog from Mitch, I love them, there a great robust knife, super good ergonomics and feel. If your on the fence take the plunge. My smaller one lives in my 5th pocket constantly.
