Ray Laconico is known for his knives which sport clean lines and timeless classic designs. Besides the well loved Yorkie, the Gemini is another one of his gems. This version of the Gemini was released in April 22.
Made by Kizer, the ball bearing pivot is well tuned and the blade flies out with ease and satisfaction. The micarta handle is complemented with a micarta backspacer which is another great touch to the knife. To add a little flare to the knife, the dark micarta is well accented with blue anodized hardware.
The drop point blade is made of Bohler N690 steel which has excellent edge retention and great corrosion resistance. Staying rust proof even under the harshest of climates, surviving even moisture as well as salt.
The Gemini has a nice lightweight profile (2.2mm blade, 1cm handle thickness, 101gm) thanks to its recessed liners, a perfect carry even for your boardshorts!
