The Kizer Lan has been designed by Azo and Reyknife as a mid sized tactical knife. With a flipper tab, nail nick, and ultra smooth ball bearing action, the Lan deploys quickly and effortlessly drops shut under gravity alone. The handles have a pineapple grid pattern to increase traction while using this knife. The pocket clip is reversible and has three holes to adjust the placement to your liking.
The Tanto blade is crafted from N690, a premium, cobalt-enriched stainless steel from the Austrian steel company Bohler. It's an easy to maintain Steel that is well known for its ability to hold a fine edge for long periods of use.
Fit and finish of these knives are top notch.

I just love the shape of the blade and the action is fantastic. It just falls shut when disengaged. Much smoother than more expensive knives.
This is a very affordable wicked edc knife. The detent lock up is awesome with no play at full extension. The smoothness of the bearings is silky with a drop shut guillotine action that will take the tip of your finger if you're not careful. The blade is scapel sharp out of the box and holds its edge well. The scales feel natural in the hand with no noticeable hotspots even for larger mitts like mine. The balance and feel of this knife are on point and I am happy to have this blade as my main edc. The look of this knife is very sexy and I love having it in my hands. It is very fidgety if you are into that sort of thing. My one point of contention is that the pocket clip is not the best as I slid out of the truck and it caught on the seat cover and bent outwards. I did manage to straighten it out again so no real loss I guess. I would like to thank Mitch for providing great customer service and a quality product in a very reasonable and quick turn around. 👍 Cheers mate.
This model is a very wicked but affordable knife. The smoothness of the delivery from open to close is impressive and deeply satisfying on many levels. The blade is scalpel sharp and maintains its edge well. The scales are grid formation G10 that is super grippy in the hand with no hot spots felt. Even for my large hands it has a comfortable heft and balance that feels natural. I love the look and feel of this knife and it is now my EDC main. A big thanks to Mitch for providing great customer service and a great quality product. Cheers Marek.
I’m trying not to double up re my knives. The Kizer Lan hit the mark bang on. Nothing like I have and I’m delighted. The styling is really different and totally deliberate. Kinda retro boxy frag Green grey micarta scales, polished hardware with a satin drop point blade. Love it. Super quick deployment with a terrific satisfying snap. Several types of flip, reverse middle finger and front thumb action. I’m starting to realise that each manufacturer does things different and that what’s keeping me interested. The fear of buying the same knife is subsiding. Mitch has been fantastic. No bull recommendations and the best service I’ve encountered. Regards Marc
What a great review of the Lan, Marc! It is an excellent knife to add to your growing varied collection. Glad you're enjoying it.
What a fantastic little knife , love the frag pattern micarta scales , and an excellent slicey hollow ground blade with a very thin edge. Also love the compound grind. Most of all the action on this knife has to be the most drop shutty I've ever seen on a knife this price . Well done Kizer and thankyou once again Mitch for your great customer service. Regards Mark
Thank you Mark for your excellent review! The action on the Kizer Lan sure is extraordinary! Glad you're enjoying it in your collection.
