J.W.Kollab Scuffle: Their First Flipper That’s Hard Not to Love

J.W.Kollab Scuffle: Their First Flipper That’s Hard Not to Love

Mitchell Nero |

The Evolution Continues

The Scuffle is the 3rd installation in Jack Wolf Knives' collaboration series J.W.Kollabs. The Scuffle is not just another iteration, but a proper leap forward. Here’s what’s new with the Scuffle:

  • First ever flipper tab (finally!)
  • First pivot collars
  • First captured pivot
  • First hidden hardware
  • First internal milling
  • Thicker blade stock (first 3.8mm)

It’s like watching your favourite band drop their career-defining album. Only this time, the riffs are all titanium and CPM S90V.

Two Minds, One Blade

This collab brings Nick Rogers of Nitch Designs into the mix, blending his trademark contoured lines with JWK’s precision engineering. Add in Sean Tiffany’s tube art on the packaging and you’ve got something that feels as collectible as it is functional.

The Specs (No Snooze Fest)

The Blade:

  • 3.52" clip point in CPM S90V steel
  • Hollow ground slicer, 3.16" cutting edge, 3.8mm thick
  • Rockwell hardness 60–61 (translation: edge retention for yonks)
  • 4.43" handle closed, 99-132g carry weight
  • Thick handles: 14.8mm scale to scale

The Build:

  • Flipper tab on caged ceramic ball bearings
  • Captured pivot, hidden hardware for clean lines
  • Stainless steel lock bar insert
  • Milled titanium pocket clip, tip-up, right hand

And yep, it flicks open smoother than a cold beer on a summer arvo.

Four Variants, Four Personalities

The Natural: Green Linen Micarta
Stonewashed blade paired with green linen micarta scales. Bronze anodized backspacer, pocket clip, and pivot collars tie it all together under an integral bolster lock. Understated, timeless, and effortlessly cool.

The Stealth Operator: Kirinite Black Ice

Belt satin blade with Kirinite Black Ice scales. A DLC titanium clip balances against polished backspacer and pivot collars, keeping things sleek under the integral bolster lock. Sophisticated with a hint of mystery.

The Show-Stopper: Crystallized Titanium
Belt satin blade with full crystallized titanium scales and blurple anodization. Pivot collars, backspacer, and clip melt seamlessly into the crystallized finish, while the bolster lock keeps everything tight. Bold, flashy, and impossible to ignore.

The Minimalist: Titanium Micro Milled

Belt satin blade with micro-milled titanium scales, finished off with bronze anodized backspacer, pivot collars, and clip. A framelock replaces the bolster lock here, 2 solid slabs of titanium make this one solid workhorse.

The Flip

That first JWK rear flipper tab? Nailed it. The action’s crisp, fast, and dangerously addictive. Combined with ceramic bearings and that captured pivot, you get form and function in perfect balance.

The Adventure Carry Reality Check

Here’s the kicker: we’re the only authorised Aussie dealer for Jack Wolf Knives. Which means proper warranty, local support, and a team that is in direct contact with Jack Wolf Knives founder Ben Belkin.

Limited Means Limited

These aren’t mass-produced shelf fillers. Quantities are tight, drops are short, and when they’re gone, they’re gone. If you’ve ever missed out on a past Jack Wolf Knives drop, you know the pain.

Which One’s Yours?

Green Linen for the purist? Black Ice for the mysterious? Blurple Crystallized Titanium for the collector who loves a flex? Or the Micro Milled Ti for purists?

Truth is, there’s no wrong answer. Only four very, very right ones.

Your Move

The Scuffle is dropping soon. Get your alarms set, polish that justification speech (“it’s not a knife, it’s art”), and be ready.

Because life’s too short for boring knives. And far too short to miss a J.W.K drop.
