Every so often something comes along that makes you stop and take stock of how far you've come. For us, the Space Roo Yuti is one of those things.
We want to take a moment to tell you the story behind it, and more importantly, to say thank you.
Where it started
Adventure Carry began as a side hustle. Two people who loved good gear, a lot of late nights, and no real guarantee any of it would work out. We packed every single order ourselves for the first 5 years and hoped the community we cared about would grow around us.
It did. And it's because of you.
So when KNAFS approached us about creating an Adventure Carry exclusive Yuti, it landed as a genuine pinch me moment. An exclusive like this is rare in Australia. It isn't often that an international brand comes and does a collaboration with a dealer here, so to have KNAFS trust us with it left us humbled. We didn't take that lightly for a second.

Meet the Space Roo
If you know KNAFS, you know Gary the Space Kitty. When we sat down to think about what an Adventure Carry Yuti should be, the answer felt obvious. This is Australia. We needed to pay homage to Gary and send a Space Roo up to the Knafs stratosphere.

We wanted the artwork to be special, and we wanted it to be ours, so we brought in Sydney artist Aidan Howes to bring the Space Roo to life. Every bit of it was drawn by hand. No AI anywhere near it. Backing a local artist mattered to us just as much as the knife itself, and Aidan absolutely delivered.

The result is a Yuti that carries a bit of Australia in it with a nod to our gift to Knafs in 2025 (IYKYK). The clever quick swap, tool less blade change system of the Yuti is still there, still as handy as ever, now wrapped in artwork you won't find anywhere else.

What your support meant
Only 100 Space Roo Yutis were ever made. When our web allocation sold out, we honestly had to sit with it for a minute. That kind of support isn't something we ever take for granted.
Then came the NSW Cutler's Expo. For a business that lives mostly online, getting to meet you in person was the highlight of it all. Putting faces to names, having a proper chat, hearing what you carry and why. Those two days reminded us exactly why we do this. We came home knackered and grateful in equal measure.

None of this happens without the community around us. Not the collaboration, not the expo, not the business itself. You got us here, and we mean that sincerely.

If you missed the first drop, there's still a small chance. We have a handful of Space Roo Yutis left over from the expo - 15 pieces. Once they're gone, that's it. Only 100 were ever made. Dropping tonight, 3 September, 7PM AEST.

However this one finds its way to you, whether it's a treat for yourself or a gift for someone who'll appreciate something a little bit rare, thank you for being part of the story.
And keep an eye on this space. We're not done yet.
From us at Adventure Carry, thank you.
